CHICAGO, World of Hyatt members can now earn and use loyalty points at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced this change on Tuesday. It adds over 20 all-inclusive properties and about 12,000 rooms to the program.
This integration includes resorts in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica, and Spain. Bahia Principe joins Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection as the ninth brand. This addition follows the joint venture between Hyatt and Piñero, the Spanish hospitality group that manages Bahia Principe properties and owns the brand. The My Bahia Principe loyalty program ended on March 23, and the World of Hyatt integration started the next day.
Members earn 5 base points for every eligible U.S. dollar spent on room rates at participating properties. They also receive credit toward elite-tier status and Milestone Rewards with qualifying stays. Holders of the World of Hyatt Credit Card from Chase can earn up to 9 total points per dollar spent on eligible Hyatt stays, including at Bahia Principe resorts.
To celebrate this addition, Hyatt is offering a double-points promotion for stays completed between April 1 and June 30. Members must register at hyatt.com/2x-points-bahia-principe by May 30 to participate. Stays must be booked and completed after registration and within the promotion window to qualify.

“Bahia Principe has built a strong reputation over decades for warm hospitality, destination-rich resorts, and experiences that bring families and couples together in beautiful settings,” said Javier Águila, president of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection. “We are excited to offer World of Hyatt members the chance to earn and use points at this popular brand’s resorts.”
Bahia Principe’s portfolio includes family-friendly, grand, and luxury resort options across its locations. Properties cover beach destinations like Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the Riviera Maya in Mexico, Runaway Bay in Jamaica, and Tenerife and Mallorca in Spain.
Existing Bahia Principe reservations made before March 24 will remain unchanged during the transition, and prior membership benefits will be honored until the Bahia Principe program ends.
