Hilton has announced a new lodging category, Apartment Collection by Hilton, offering fully furnished apartment-style accommodations that can be booked through Hilton’s existing channels and integrated into the Hilton Honors loyalty program.
The new category will launch in partnership with Placemakr, a brand and management company specializing in flexible and extended-stay urban accommodations. Initial properties will open in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta in the first half of 2026, with bookings available through Hilton.com.

“We’ve long seen the opportunity to deliver hospitality-driven apartment stays, offering spacious accommodations, thoughtful amenities, and authentic connections to local neighborhoods, and Placemakr shares that vision,” said Chris Silcock, president of global brands and commercial services at Hilton.
Apartment Collection by Hilton is designed for a broad range of travelers — from short-term leisure guests to extended-stay business travelers — who want the flexibility of apartment living combined with Hilton’s brand standards and loyalty benefits. Hilton said every property will maintain consistent quality standards and integrate with Hilton’s booking and loyalty systems.
Members of Hilton Honors will be able to earn and redeem points on stays at Apartment Collection properties. The launch follows Hilton’s broader push to expand its collection brand portfolio, which also includes LXR Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection, Tapestry Collection, and Outset Collection by Hilton.
The company said Placemakr was selected after an extensive search for a partner with the operational expertise to deliver the new category at scale. Placemakr operates furnished apartment properties in major urban and suburban U.S. markets.
Hilton currently has more than 9,100 properties and over 1.3 million rooms across 143 countries and territories.
