Chase Ultimate Rewards cardholders have two days to lock in a 20% transfer bonus to three Avios programs before the offer expires at 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 31.
The bonus applies to point transfers from Chase Ultimate Rewards to British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, and Aer Lingus AerClub. All three programs share the Avios currency, and the offer effectively covers access to five loyalty programs, including Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Finnair Plus, since Avios move freely among those partners at no cost through avios.com.
Under the promotion, every 1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points transferred yields 1,200 Avios rather than the standard 1,000. The bonus posts to the Avios account within seven days and will not be reflected on the Chase side of the transfer. Transfers are instant. The minimum transfer is 1,000 points, in increments of 1,000.
The offer is notable for the breadth of redemptions it unlocks. Aer Lingus off-peak economy awards from the U.S. East Coast to Ireland price at 13,000 Avios each way — or about 10,800 Chase points after the bonus. Iberia off-peak business class between eastern U.S. gateways and Madrid prices at 40,500 Avios each way, equal to roughly 34,000 Chase points with the 20% uplift. Cardholders who redirect Avios to Qatar Airways Privilege Club can book Qatar Qsuite business class from the U.S. to Doha at 70,000 Avios each way — 58,500 Chase points after the bonus.
One practical limitation: British Airways requires a 30-day-old account before accepting inbound transfers or outbound Avios moves to other programs; Iberia requires 90 days. Aer Lingus imposes no published waiting period and is the cleanest target for cardholders who opened a new account this month.
The 20% bonus is on the lower end of Chase’s historical Avios promotions — a 30% offer ran in October 2024 — but represents a meaningful boost for cardholders with a specific redemption already in mind. Points experts generally caution against speculative transfers in the absence of a firm award to book, as Avios redemptions are not refundable.
The offer is available to holders of any Chase card that earns Ultimate Rewards points, including the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Ink Business Preferred, Chase Freedom Flex, and Chase Freedom Unlimited. Transfers are completed at ultimaterewardspoints.chase.com.
